1.Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account, running the wallet, connecting a miner to the pool, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
2.What Tracercoin is
Tracercoin (TFX) is an independent, community proof-of-work blockchain secured by Scrypt mining. TFX is a utility coin obtained by mining — there is no token sale, pre-sale, or public offering, and buying TFX from Tracercoin is not part of the Services. The chain can also record permanent, verifiable proofs called fingerprints. TFX is intended for mining, transacting, and recording proofs — not as an investment.
3.No investment advice; no guarantees
- Nothing in the Services is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
- Tracercoin makes no representation or promise about price, value, return, yield, or profit. TFX may lose value, and its value may reach zero.
- TFX is a consumptive utility coin. It is not offered or intended as a security, share, or investment contract, and you should not acquire or hold it expecting profit from the efforts of others.
- You are solely responsible for your own decisions and for any taxes that apply to you.
4.Eligibility & your responsibility
- You must be of legal age and legally permitted to use the Services where you live.
- You are responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, and tax rules that apply to you, including any rules on mining or holding digital assets in your jurisdiction.
- You may not use the Services where doing so would be unlawful.
5.Self-custody & keys
- The Tracercoin wallet is self-custodial: your keys and coins stay with you. Tracercoin does not hold, control, or have access to your funds.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your wallet, passphrase, backups, and recovery data. If you lose your passphrase or keys, your funds are lost and cannot be recovered — there is no recovery authority and no way to reverse or refund transactions.
6.Mining & the pool
- Mining rewards are newly minted TFX paid for the computational work you contribute. Rewards are variable and are never guaranteed.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the payout address you provide. Payments to a wrong or invalid address cannot be recovered.
- A disclosed protocol treasury/dev fee is paid at the consensus level on each block, and the pool applies its stated fee. These are published and may change with notice.
- You are responsible for your own hardware, electricity, connectivity, and their costs.
7.Fingerprints (on-chain proofs)
- A fingerprint writes a compact proof (a content hash and minimal metadata) to the chain; the underlying content stays with you and is not stored on-chain.
- Filing a fingerprint costs TFX, and that fee routes to the treasury. Data written to a public blockchain is permanent and cannot be deleted.
- You are responsible for the content you fingerprint and must have the right to do so. Do not fingerprint unlawful content or content that infringes others' rights.
8.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
- attack, overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the network, pool, portal, website, or other users;
- interfere with the integrity of the blockchain or attempt to defraud the pool or other miners;
- misrepresent your identity or another person's, or violate others' rights.
9.Accounts & security
- You are responsible for your portal account credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your password secure and enable two-factor authentication where offered.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend access to protect the Services or users.
10.No warranties (“as is”)
The Services and software are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Tracercoin does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Open-source components are governed by their own licenses.
11.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tracercoin and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of coins, profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Services — including losses from volatility, lost keys or passphrases, wrong payout addresses, network conditions, or irreversible transactions.
12.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the version and effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
13.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be set on publication], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. This section is a placeholder pending counsel review.
